The fourteenth edition of the sIRcro Congress will bring together renowned experts in the field of interventional radiology, who will present a specially designed program offering insights into the latest developments and techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge through active discussions and direct communication with the speakers.
As part of the congress, the 5thSymposium of Radiological Technologists, Nurses, and Technicians in Interventional Radiology will also take place.
The participants will:
• gain increased confidence in performing PTA of peripheral vessels and endovascular procedures on the aorta
• be equipped to actively participate in multidisciplinary teams and decision-making for various clinical cases and dilemmas
• be able to perform minimally invasive procedures in various oncological settings and patient scenarios
• acquire in-depth knowledge of radiation protection during interventional procedures
• gain better understanding of the latest minimally invasive techniques performed in advanced clinical centers
• develop a deeper insight into the assessment and treatment of acute ischemic stroke and various neurointerventional procedures
• gain knowledge about thoracic, gastrointestinal, and urogenital emergencies and potential interventional solutions
• learn about endovascular arteriovenous fistula (AVF) creation
• learn how to manage embolic events and procedures
Lectures will be organized in the format of 12-minute theoretical presentations, followed by 3 minutes of interactive discussion after each talk.
Workshops will also be organized, where participants can perform various interventional procedures on simulators on-site. Additionally, roundtable discussions will be held, providing participants with the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with experts and colleagues.
