The committee for the medical training of doctors categorized and scored the 13th Meeting of Croatian interventional radiologists with international participation, case number: 145-826/23, as an International Congress - active participants will be awarded 20 points, and passive participants will be awarded 10 points.
The 13th Meeting of Croatian Interventional Radiologists, Poreč, Croatia, 07/05/2023-10/05/2023 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 20 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.”
The thirteenth edition of the sIRcro congress brought together renowned experts in the field of interventional radiology who, through a specially designed program, provided an insight into the news and techniques in interventional radiology. The participants were able to exchange experiences and knowledge through participation in discussions and direct communication with lecturers and your colleagues.
As part of the congress, the 4th Satellite symposium of radiology technologists, nurses and technicians was held too..
The participants will:
• be more confident in performing PTA of peripheral vessels and endovascular procedures on the aorta
• participate as an equal member of a multidisciplinary team and making decisions for different clinical cases and dilemmas
• perform minimally invasive procedures in different oncological patients and scenarios
• gain more detailed knowledge on radiation protection during interventional procedures
• gain better knowledge on the latest minimally invasive procedures that are performed in advanced clinical centers
• create deeper insight into assessment and treatment of acute ischemic stroke and different neurointerventional procedures
• create deeper insight into thoracic, gastrointestinal and urogenital emergencies and possible interventional solutions
• gain knowledge on endovascular creation of AVF’s
• learn how to deal with embolic events and procedures
Lectures are organized as 12 minutes of theoretical lesson and 3 minutes of short interactive discussion after each lecture.
Workshops where participants will be able to perform different interventional procedures on simulators on-site were held, as well as round table discussions in which participants were able to ask questions and discuss lectures with experts and other colleagues.
